Pixel Wins BCO National Award

We are thrilled to see Pixel recognised by the National British Council for Offices Awards and win the first ever BCO Judges Choice Award for 2026.

Recognising the buildings creative and sustainable attributes, the judges said:

“Pixel’s flexible, future-proofed studio leasing model actively supports Penzance’s creative sector, driving economic regeneration and community engagement. The project demonstrates long-term value and showcases robust environmental credentials: BREEAM Excellent, life cycle carbon assessment and passive design. Pixel shows how corporate investment can revive communities, champion sustainability and nurture business ecosystems.”

Home to a diverse community of creative businesses such as ceramicists and content designers to filmmakers, musicians, printmakers and animators, Pixel is already helping to bring new activity into Penzance town centre within the first 18 months of opening.

Thank you to everyone whose collaboration and commitment continue to make Pixel more than a workplace. To win it validates the multiplicity of impact at the heart of Pixel’s design – its power to invoke a better future by evoking the town’s rich history and creative spirit of Penzance.
