Member Stories: Michael Hagan
From New Jersey to Penzance, via New York and London, Michael Hagan tells us about life…
A monolithic 1970s building on Stokes Croft, Hamilton House is home to a community of designer-makers, creatives, entrepreneurs, thought-leaders and change makers. Workspaces include coworking, artists’ studios and offices ranging in size from the intimate to the cavernous. A variety of events spaces include meeting rooms, performance and art spaces.
From spaces for two, through to larger studios for growing teams, Hamilton House has spaces for all shapes and size of business.
There are private studios, shared artist spaces and coworking options too. It’s a big building full of creativity.
With a background in arts administration, Djuna is passionate about encouraging the creative and collaborative spirit at Hamilton House. She organises member events, writes the monthly newsletter, and helps ensure everything runs smoothly for the community.
In her spare time, she enjoys getting stuck into a new knitting project or unwinding at the cinema.
Djuna works at Hamilton House on Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Carys is our longest-serving host and the heart of the Hamilton House community. Known for her warmth and enthusiasm, she’s always on hand to support members – whether that’s through a quiet chat over a cuppa, or connecting them for networking opportunities.
Outside of work, she shares her soulful voice gigging around Bristol and sharing videos on Instagram.
Carys works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Lex is the latest addition to the team at Hamilton House. With a background in marketing and events, she loves helping founders find their voice, polish ideas, and pull off unique experiences.
When she’s not at Hamilton House, you’ll probably spot her with Indie, her sassy, retired greyhound who’s perfected the art of the side-eye.
Lex works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
